Instructors

Sensei Andy Andria (3rd Dan FFKDA and 4th Dan WIKF):

Direct student and assistant / instructor-instructor of Sensei Hiroji FUKAZAWA at the SHIZUOKA WADO CLUB son Dojo in Paris for more than 25 years, I wish to continue the Wado Ryu style and transmit to our students the beauty of this style.

Indeed, through the years spent at his side, I had the chance to learn, to know and to transmit the values of traditional karate in Respect, Honor and Humility.

I was born in 1973 I learned traditional karate wado ryu in France at the age of 8 years.

I got my first Dan FFKAMA (French Karate Federation) in 1989 at 16 years old.

Through a karate internship in the Paris region at the age of 17 that I knew and had the chance to meet Sensei Fukazawa. Since then, I became a student of his club AS POULBOT in 1990 became SHIZUOKA WADO CLUB thereafter I was part of the France Wado team from 1992 to 1996 (kata and kumite) then in 2003 to 2009 I was part of the French team WIKF (Wado International Karate Federation) led by Sensei Fukazawa.

By humility, I never wanted to spend my Dan considering that being surrounded and be near my sensei with 10 hours of intense trainings a week and relentless (Japanese training) were better than running the Dan.

In 1998, Sensei wanted me to accompany him to do demonstrations and be his assistant. He asked me to pass the Dan.

I got my 3rd Dan delivered by sensei Tatsuo Suzuki in Oct 2007.

In addition, I was able to transmit my knowledge by teaching in a club named COSMA KARATE ARCUEIL where I developed the Karate Wado from 2005 to 2010 of which I was the chief instructor while being assistant instructor at the dojo SHIZUOKA WADO CLUB Sensei Fukazawa from 1999 to April 2010.

Finally, Arrived in Quebec in May 2010 I founded my hope to honor my late Sensei Fukazawa (deceased in June 2010) to live and preserve his style in the beautiful province of Quebec in the Greater Region of Montreal.
