The Dojo is not a simple gymnasium, it is the place of learning, conducive to research and the realization of Self in the practice of Martial Art. We enter and we leave the Dojo by greeting him to show his respect. To sit in the dojo, the karateka can kneel (seiza) or sit cross-legged (anza).Avoid going to bed or sitting with your legs extended, as these postures, in addition to being neglected, can be a source of accidents. Karateka must always be alert and know how to stand inside the dojo. His kimono (karate-gi) must be clean, and the karate must adjust it from time to time during training and before each salute. The belt knot must be done correctly. For reasons of tradition and hygiene, it is forbidden to walk on the training area with shoes. The wearing of zooris (Japanese sandals) is recommended outside the training area.

The “Dojo-Kun” aims to preserve the notions of respect, loyalty, fidelity and sincerity proper to the practice of a martial art. It is necessary to have a correct attitude and a state of mind in order to be sufficiently available to study a discipline
